Partners are like the Soldier system from SSBRP, but are really a modified version of the Partner system from both of the Paper Mario games.

Besides acting as comrades in battle, they also have abilities outside of battle that can be very useful.

Rank: The Partner's Rank. Indicates their strength, and ability to follow their leader's commands. Max Rank is Six.

HP: The Partner's HP. Once it hits zero, the Partner is knocked out, and you are left alone in battle, or you have to switch to your second Partner.
FP: The Partner's FP, used for skills.

Skills:
The set of skills the Partner has.

Abilities:
The set of abilities the Partner has.
